Develops critical thinking - Students need to think carefully and be thoughtful with limited frames.
Builds a foundation - Darkroom photography can provide a strong foundation for students and help them understand the basics of photography.
Promotes a deeper understanding: - Students gain a deeper understanding of the photographic process, light, shadow, and composition.
Promotes self-expression -Photography is a form of self-expression that allows kids to communicate their thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
Teaches camera settings - Film forces students to understand camera settings, rather than just taking rapid-fire photos with a digital camera.
